Can I book a hotel with crypto?
Yes, through a booking site that takes crypto and pays the hotel in local currency. Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia don't accept crypto directly (checked October 13, 2026). StaySats is a hotel booking site paid only in crypto, with top-ups from $25. We book on request, and the total is held, not charged, until the hotel confirms.

Which coins and networks can I pay with?
BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. USDT works on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20) and USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20). Send each coin only on the network shown on the payment page. All coins and networks.
What is the minimum top-up?
$25. Your balance is in US dollars once the payment is confirmed on the blockchain, and unused balance never expires.
What does "held, not charged" mean?
At checkout, the exact total of the stay is held on your balance. It is charged only when the hotel confirmation number is issued. If the hotel can't confirm, the full amount is released to your balance at once. How it works.
How long does the hotel confirmation take?
Bookings are made on request: after checkout we book the room for you. The status changes to Confirmed when the hotel confirmation number is issued. We will publish a median time once 30 days of real bookings are measured. If we cannot confirm in time, the amount is released.
Will the hotel ask for a credit card at check-in?
Often, yes. Paying ahead with StaySats does not remove the hotel's incidental deposit at check-in. Your room is prepaid, but many hotels ask for a card or a cash deposit for extras. The rules vary by chain and by hotel. Check-in without a credit card.
Do I need to show my ID?
Not to us: no ID upload, no selfie. The hotel checks your ID or passport at check-in, as local law requires. Hotel ID rules by country.
What happens if the hotel cancels?
You get 100% of the stay back and you choose the form: USDT or USDC within 7 days of your request, or balance credit. If you cancel a refundable rate yourself, the amount the hotel refunds goes back to your balance. Refunds.

No. StaySats sells hotel bookings only. Each booking is a single travel service, not a package.
Where can't I book a hotel?
We sell no hotel in Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, Syria, Crimea or the Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine (sanctions). Hotels in Spain are not available yet. Where we can't sell hotels.
